    joe jonas Taylor swift

Joe Jonas is trying to clear his name with fans after Taylor Swift publicly suggested that he left her for his new flame, 22-year-old actress Camilla Belle. On his MySpace page, Jonas writes, "Several things I will state with all my heart. I never cheated on a girlfriend. It might make someone feel better to assume or imply I have been unfaithful, but it is simply not true." As for the infamous 27 second phone break-up, Jonas claims, "I called to discuss feelings with the other person. Those feelings were obviously not well received. I did not end the conversation. Someone else did. Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk." Jonas ends his post, stating, "I wish the best for the other person, but could not sit back any longer and leave our fans with a wrong impression of the truth. Hope this helps enlighten a little.

    clint black

Clint Black is suing his manager/accountant, Charles Sussman, for misguiding him financially, according to Nashville's The City Paper. In a lawsuit, filed November 7 in Davidson County Chancery Court, Black seeks unspecified compensatory and punitive damages from Sussman and his Music Row firm, Gudvi, Sussman and Oppenheim, claiming they "repeatedly engaged in self-dealing, negligence, and/or gross negligence" with his finances. According to the complaint, Black was inadvertently "providing an interest-free, unsecured loan" to Equity Records because Sussman allegedly convinced him to assign over 500 thousand dollars in royalties to the company, in which they both have minority ownership, but gave him nothing in return. In addition, Black claims Sussman had him sign more than one million dollars worth of personal guaranties for Equity, and was secretly taking monthly payments from the label. Finally, Clint accuses Sussman of keeping him in the dark about the specifics of Little Big Town's contract with Equity and leading him to believe they were signed to a long-term deal. Of course, the group made its move to Capitol Records in April.

Like many, Jason Aldean took on a variety of jobs during his high school years. He tells The Wichita Falls Times Record Sews, "I worked at a grocery store bagging groceries. I worked as a Pepsi delivery guy, and for a while, I worked at Discovery Zone, a Chuck E. Cheese-type place." As Jason recalls, it was his mom who helped him land one of his first paying gigs as a performer when he was 15. He played the local VFW in his hometown of Macon, Georgia. After being a part of several bands in high school, Jason eventually made the move to Nashville to pursue his dream.

It was no easy task for Rascal Flatts to choose the songs to include on their newly released Greatest Hits Volume 1. What was the problem? Too many hits! Lead singer Gary LeVox shares, "As time goes on, you start getting a few more hits under your belt, that kinda thing, your show grows and you start dropping your first couple of songs." Gary adds that as the band continues to move forward, it's been really cool for them to take time and reflect on their growth and creativity as artists. He says putting the hits collection together was "a nice ride through history." LeVox shares that he can still remember exactly where he was the first time he sang such early hits as "Prayin' For Daylight"; and "While You Loved Me." Meanwhile, it seems Rascal Flatts continues to have more success than they can keep up with. While their Greatest Hits Volume 1 is already on store shelves, the group's latest single, "Here," is zooming up the charts.

The members of Little Big Town say they may have to "go bus-to-bus" for trick-or-treating tomorrow because they will be in Austin opening for Carrie Underwood. The group is not letting the fact that they'll be working on Halloween spoil their fun. Kimberly Schlapman says she has ordered a duck suit for her daughter Daisy. Phillip Sweet reveals he is going as the "Big Bad Wolf," his wife will dress like "Bo Peep" and their little girl, Penelope, will probably be a little lamb. Karen Fairchild says she and husband Jimi Westbrook haven't chosen their outfits yet, but they may throw a party around the buses and get Carrie to dress up with them. [via AristoMedia]
