• Willie Nelson and members of his family have recorded a version of the Rolling Stones' classic "Wild Horses," with proceeds designated to protecting wild and domestic horses.

The track is available on the Animal Welfare Institute website, as well as iTunes.

Nelson believes the Bureau of Land Management is rounding up and removing horses from public land, rather than protecting them under a 1971 law.

The recording also includes his children Paul, Lukas, Amy, Micah and Susie Nelson, along with some of the country legend's grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
