
Musician Warren “Gates” Nichols was laid to rest on Aug. 19th in Dallas, GA. Nichols was the steel guitar and keyboardist for the band Confederate Railroad. Nichols, 65, died from pancreatic cancer. The band was best known for hits such as “Queen of Memphis,” “Jesus and Mama,” “ Trashy Women” and “Daddy Never Was the Cadillac Kind,” all of which were released in the 1990’s.
