Why is it always about size with guys?

I’m sorry to say that Troy Gentry, of Montgomery Gentry, has gotten caught in the act of exaggerating. He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge on Monday morning in Duluth, Minnesota. Charged with falsely recording a prized bear he killed as a wild one, he narrowly escaped a felony charge of transporting an illegally registered animal. Troy purchased the bear from Lee Greenly and together they planned the event hunt down to the story they would tell when registering the find.
Shame shame.
We all want to tame the wild and brag about it, but unfortunately the wildlife laws in Minnesota do not support embellishing the truth. Exceptions made for Garrison Keeler who claims all the women are strong, all the men are good-looking, and all the children are above average.
Troy is a hell raiser who sure knows how to keep things exciting. As part of the plea he lost his right to game in Minnesota for the next 5 years, so he’ll just have to take his antics elsewhere.

Oh, shut up about Troy already. You're not perfect, either. This is so pathetic... go bitch about something important, like the war in Iraq, rather than this. A few points here: Lee Marvin Greenly tagged the bear as being killed 6 miles away from the GAME PRESERVE (the actual HUNT was legal). Troy allowed this to happen. This is why he was charged. That's all it ever was. ALSO, have you ever donated thousands of dollars to charity? Have you ever done anything for the soldiers over in Iraq right now? Whatever the answer is, I know that both Eddie AND Troy have. They donate an exceptional amount of the money they make from their shows, to charity. Also, earlier last year, they played for the soldiers over in Iraq, gave some of them free copies of cd's, and visited wounded soldiers. Keep in mind that they didn't HAVE to do that, and that they were far away from their families. Troy has said that he wants to do it again this year, because it was one of the most memorable experiences of his life. To sum this all up, YOU CAN'T JUDGE SOMEONE FROM ONE MISTAKE. There is a lot more to Troy than that bear incident. On the day he plead guilty, he made a statement apologizing to the fans. The real fans forgave him and moved on... as it should be. Get over it. -
