Trace Adkins Talks McConaughey And Starbucks

Trace Adkins made viewers smile when he appeared on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on Wednesday night.

On the show, Trace revealed that Matthew McConaughey - who stars with him in the  upcoming film Lincoln Lawyer - mentioned that Matthew got upset with him recently for mispronouncing his name in a song.

Adkins name-drops McConaughey in the lyrics of his song "Hell, I Can Do That." In the tune, however, "McConaughey" with "movie."

Adkins joked to Ferguson on the show, "Pronounce his name correctly. He gets mad if you don't." Trace added, "I didn't have an 'A' rhyme."

Craig told him that Matthew should lighten up a bit, and then got into a brief discussion about Starbucks. While it's is hugely popular, Trace doesn't get his caffeine fix from the coffee shop. He quipped, "I don't go to Starbucks. I just  don't like that foo foo coffee. I don't want to stand behind somebody ordering a tai chi Jackie Chan vanilla...it just irritates me."
