Tim's Lyrics In Grammy Museum Exhibit
Hand-written lyrics by Tim McGraw will be included in an upcoming exhibit at the new Grammy Museum in downtown L.A. The display, titled "Songs of Conscience, Sounds of Freedom," takes a historical look at the blending of music and politics in the United States. It will debut on Saturday, December 6, the same day the Grammy Museum officially opens to the public. The exhibit will be featured at the facility for one year, and will then be taken on a national tour. Other items to be featured include guitars and banjos belonging to Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan, an 1816 edition of "The Star Spangled Banner," and the iPod of a U.S. soldier serving in Iraq. The Grammy Museum's grand opening festivities are slated for December 3-7.
