Pickup trucks. Fishin'. Guns. Huntin'. Beer. Floatin' the river. According to the artist, these things all make up what he likes to call "The Kevin Fowler Experience."
Fans celebrated all things Kevin Fowler and Texas music during Fowler Fest 2010 at The Nutty Brown Amphitheatre in Austin, TX.
In a backstage interview with Yallwire at the festival, Kevin talks about his wonderful fans, claiming that he likes to call them his 'friends' and even likes to try to remember each one's name.
A music fan himself, Kevin says that he gets just as giddy as any fan at his shows when he sees his favorite country artists, such as Merle Haggard.
The "Triple Crown" singer also discusses the camaraderie of the Texas music scene and loves the fact that all of the Texas music artists go out of their way to help each other out.
Claiming that kids are the best judges of a song, the country star claims that his own children picked "Pound Sign" to be his project. Although the track is the only one Kevin didn't write himself, he believes that kids have an "honest and pure opinion of music" and that the song passed "The Kiddie Test"
