The Disco Biscuits toured through Texas twice this year, stopping in Austin for their first full-length, headlining performance since ’02 on September 19, 2009.   Competing against the rivaling frenzy surrounding the UT/Tech football game, the Biscuits still drew an energetic crowd that danced its way through the night to the beats reverberating from Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheatre.  And, though this wasn’t the first time they had played this legendary stage, the vibe at the venue was quite a departure – and a welcome one – from that of their February ‘09 “co-bill” with Gov’t Mule.

For the show, Roxwel set up a three-camera HD shoot and also interviewed the band before and after they took the stage.  Currently, Set 1 is available for free streaming, and Set 2 and the interview will soon be released.
