George Strait will play a featured role in the sequel to the 1992 film Pure Country, according to examiner.com. It is called Pure Country 2: The Gift. The movie stars country singer Katrina Elam, who plays an aspiring singer named Bobbie Thomas, who was gifted by three angels with a beautiful singing voice when she was born. The film, directed by Christopher Cain - who directed the original movie as well – also stars Travis Fimmel, Dean Cain  and J.D. Parker. You can look for the film to arrive in theaters on October 15.
