Steve Martin's second bluegrass album, Rare Bird Alert, is set to be released on March 15.

A banjo master, Martin recorded the project with producer Tony Trischka, as well as the Steep Canyon Rangers, a North Carolina bluegrass group that also tours with him.

Along with appearances from extremely special guests the Dixie Chicks and Paul McCartney, the album features 12 new songs written by Martin, and also includes a live version of "King Tut," a comedy song that was a major hit for him in 1978.

Steve Martin's previous bluegrass album, The Crow, was released in 2009 and won a Grammy for Best Bluegrass Album.
