Sara Evans is living proof that it is more than possible to overcome life's obstacles and bounce back with wisdom, grace and hope for the future.

After going through a bitter divorce that fueled national tabloids, Evans married former University of Alabama quarterback Jay Barker in 2008 and moved from Nashville to Birmingham, Alabama, where they now live with their blended family of seven children.

Finally content with her personal life, Sara is now focused on relaunching her career after self-imposed five-year hiatus. With her hit single,"A Little Bit Stronger," and a new album, Stronger, Sara is not only showing off her undeniable strength as a woman and musician, but how her time and patience is really paying off.

A greatest hits album came out in 2007, but Stronger is her first collection of completely new music since her platinum-selling Real Fine Place was released in 2005. It wasn't her plan to go so long without releasing new material.

During an  interview with CMT, Sara said, "I never thought that would be the case. I just have to say that sometimes life takes over, and you have to switch around your priorities. And I definitely did. We had a hit song on the greatest hits album, and then I married Jay. And then moving to Birmingham and changing managers, there was just a whole period of time when I had to put my family first."
