Country music stood very proud at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards last night.
In addition to wins of Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban, and Zac Brown Band and Alan Jackson, the Crazy Heart soundtrack continued on its winning streak at music's most valued awards show.
Ryan Bingham and T. Bone Burnett took home the Grammy in the 'Best Song Written For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media' category for the song "The Weary Kind" from the Oscar-winning film.
Burnett and co-producer Stephen Bruton also won the 'Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media' award for the Crazy Heart soundtrack. Last year, "The Weary Kind" won the Academy Award for 'Best Original Song,' as well as a Golden Globe in the same category.
