At the request of festival host Doc Watson, Grammy-winning country star Randy Travis has been added to the lineup of MerleFest 2011.

Presented by Lowe's and celebrating its 24th year, MerleFest 2011 will take place from April 28-May 1 with over 90 artists performing on 14 stages.

Ticket sales for the Wilkesboro, North Carolina music festival begin tomorrow, Tuesday, November 9, at 2:00 p.m. EST. Ticket purchases can be made online at www.merlefest.org or by calling 1-800-343-7857. An early bird ticket discount is available through March 13, 2011 and beginning this year, fans can choose to print their tickets from any printer with the "e-ticket" option.
