Phil Vassar has teamed up with Feeding America (formerly America's Second Harvest), to help bring greater awareness to the issue of hunger in America during September's Hunger Action Month. Vassar has re-recorded "Prayer of a Common Man" with the Fisk University Jubilee Singers to help raise funds for the Feeding America network. The song will be available for download exclusively on Rhapsody beginning tomorrow, and Feeding America will receive a portion of the proceeds for each download of the song through the end of the year. Phil shares, "I know that hunger in America is an issue that affects every community. By lending my voice to Feeding America's Hunger Action Month campaign, it's my hope that we can get millions of Americans involved in the fight to end hunger."
