Randy Owen will perform a benefit concert later this month for the victims of a recent shooting at Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee. The show will take place on the evening of Friday, August 15 at Knoxville's popular nightclub Cotton Eyed Joe. Randy came up with the idea for the benefit after being moved by news of the tragedy. Owen says, "It doesn't matter what your beliefs are, this was just a senseless act committed in a house of worship. I'm sure a lot of people will be stepping up to help, and we just wanted to do something to stand with these folks." Tickets will only be available at the door and organizers of the event are asking for a donation of at least five dollars.
