One Of The Hager Twins Passes
Jim Hager, one of Hee Haw's Hager T**wins, died last Thursday at the age of 66 from an apparent heart attack. The Hager Twins rose to national fame in 1969 when they joined hosts Buck Owens and Roy Clark, along with the rest of the Hee Haw gang who satirized country life with cornball one-liners. A memorial service will be held tomorrow at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium.
The family is suggesting donations be made in Jim's name to one of his favorite charities, The Elephant Sanctuary, P.O. Box 393, Hohenwald, Tennessee 38462.
