    • Lonestar returns with their new album, Mountains, featuring the hit title track.
    • George Jones is a guest on his own tribute album, God's Country. The album features a who's-who of nineties country stars including the incomparable Pam Tillis, along with Tracy Lawrence, Vince Gill, Mark Chesnutt, Joe Diffie and more.
    • Rhonda Vincent releases a Christmas album, Beautiful Star.
    • A deluxe reissue of the classic Dwight Yoakam album Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc. , is the major reissue of the week.
    • Finally, Willie Nelson fans get yet another box set of their favorite artist, as 54 Songs: The Songwriter Sessions, hits stores.
