In light of the historic flooding that hit Nashville last month – closing down so many businesses in the process - the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center will reopen on November 15, according to AOL The Boot. It has been closed since May 2 for repairs. In addition, the resort also will be making several upgrades to many of the restaurants; that includes the Cascades Lobby and Restaurant, which was under more than 10 feet of water. Gaylord properties the Wildhorse Saloon and the General Jackson had their grand reopenings over the weekend. Meantime, The Grand Ole Opry is scheduled to reopen on October 1. The cost to repair and renovate all of Gaylord's Nashville properties will cost more than $215 million.
