Tomorrow: Kingsport, TN….

Alison, or I should say, Mrs. Krauss will help Appalachia start Christmassing tomorrow by participating in this year’s Santa Train. She’ll help take 15 tons of toys and gifts to 14 cities throughout Tennessee, Virginia, and Kentucky.

Since its humble WWII beginning, many have counted on the Santa Train to come along the Saturday before Thanksgiving. 64 years and the train’s still reaching thousands of rural folks with, what is for some, the only holiday cheer the year can afford.

A great way to start the season is giving thanks by giving to others. Alison is of course honored to share in the trek, as she holds a special place in her heart for the mountain natives.
