Miranda Lambert's first annual Cause For The Paws fundraiser is sold out! The event, featuring a wine tasting, dinner and acoustic performances from Miranda and her boyfriend, Blake Shelton, will take place Sunday in North Tyler, Texas.
Proceeds raised will benefit the Humane Society of East Texas, which is the same place Miranda adopted her dog, Delilah. She shares why it's an organization she wants to support:
"I'm just glad I can help a charity that I'm really hands on with. I mean, I can see where my money's goin' and that matters to me. There's so many commercials and so many people tryin' to get you to give money to their charity, but you don't know exactly where your check's gonna go if you send it. And this place, I can see the facility, I can see the animals, the great people that work there and it's in my hometown, so it's a little bit closer to my heart."
