Critically acclaimed vocalist and stage performer Mandy Barnett is set to release her new album "Sweet Dreams" on May 24.

The highly anticipated album launch is in conjunction with her leading role return to Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium stage in the musical production "Always...Patsy Cline."

"Sweet Dreams" provides Barnett with an opportunity to honor not only beloved music icon Patsy Cline, but also the songs she made famous and the songwriters who crafted the timeless tunes.

The album includes Cline's well-known signature hits such as "Crazy," "I Fall To Pieces," and "Faded Love," and Barnett leaves her unique and powerful vocal stamp on each one.

The project, produced by Steve Gibson, features many of Nashville's most talented studio musicians. This year also marks the 50th anniversary of Patsy Cline's hit "Crazy" which was written by Willie Nelson.

Barnett will sing many of the songs from "Sweet Dreams" when she returns to her role as Patsy Cline in the bio-musical "Alway...Patsy Cline," which will run Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays June 17-July 24 at the Ryman Auditorium. Joining Barnett on stage to reprise her role of Louise Seger, Cline's most devoted fan, will be Tere Meyers.

"Always...Patsy Cline" features more than 20 of Cline's most memorable numbers including "I Fall To Pieces," "Crazy," "Blue Moon of Kentucky" and "Sweet Dreams," which became a hit shortly after her death.

"We are thrilled to have Mandy Barnett back on stage at the Ryman in 'Always...Patsy Cline.'  Mandy consistently amazes audiences with her extraordinary talent and we feel like we have captured that on this new release, 'Sweet Dreams,' says Steve Buchanan, Grand Ole Opry Group President.

"Sweet Dreams" will be available for purchase beginning May 24 at the Ryman gift shop, the Opry Shop at the Grand Ole Opry House, Opry Originals on Broadway in downtown Nashville, ryman.com and opry.com.
