And don't let that Broadway background fool you.  According to the Los Angeles Times, "Even though Bundy comes from a Broadway background, country music is more than just another role she is stepping into.  Bundy grew up in Lexington, KY, an ardent fan of Loretta Lynn and Dolly Parton who also soaked up the R&B and soul music of Otis Redding and Aretha Franklin.  Those four key influences can be heard strongly in Achin' and Shakin.'"

Bundy was also surprised with more good news this week when she received two CMT Music Award nominations for her debut music video "Giddy On Up."  She is the only female solo artist up for USA Weekend's Breakthrough Video of the Year, and she is also nominated in the Female Video of the Year category.

After the ACM awards on Sunday, April 18, she will fly up to New York for an April 20 performance on Good Morning America.  Additionally, Bundy will be featured in a half-hour documentary series, Introducing: Laura Bell Bundy, which premieres Sunday, April 11 at 11pm ET on GAC.
