The party was a celebration for the Vanderbilt students and Miracle Families who serve as ambassadors for Vanderbilt University Dance Marathon, the largest student-run philanthropic organization at the university.

I admire everything the Children's Hospital does on a daily basis or those families and want to do my part in spreading the cheer this holiday season."
The party included decorating gingerbread houses, Christmas stories, dancing and a visit from Santa amd Mrs. Claus.
John said he plays to match the top student fundraiser's total, up to $10,000.
