Rascal Flatts' Joe Don Rooney has returned to his hometown of Picher, Oklahoma to help clean up the wreckage left by the tornadoes and storms that hit the area last weekend. Although Joe Don's family members are okay, Country Aircheck reports six people died in the town of approximately eight hundred, including a high school friend of Rooney's. He shared details of the devastation, noting that "half the town is gone." He added, "I'm going to try to help out the best I can the next couple of days... It's just really, really sad... But there is a bright spot to see the people band together and see the love and the support from all the surrounding communities."
