Singer/songwriter Jewel and her husband, rodeo star Ty Murray, have announced that they are having a baby.

Jewel reported the good news to People magazine after finding out that she was pregnant on the set of her new job as co-host of the Bravo reality show, Going Platinum. She is now in her second trimester.

The couple has reportedly been trying to conceive for two years and Jewel happily shared, "I took a pregnancy test and it was positive! It was so hard to keep it a secret. I was worried I'd start throwing up on set and everyone would be like, 'Oh, she's pregnant."

Jewel, who is also working on a album of children's music, also adds, "I'm trying to be in the moment and really enjoy my pregnancy. I feel really lucky."
