Country music superstar Jason Aldean has taken the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Country Albums chart just fourteen weeks after its release.

The ACM Entertainer of the Year nominee's platinum certified album, My Kinda Party, has held on at No. 2 for fourteen weeks behind Taylor Swift, but this week wrestled the top spot away from her to take the No. 1 position on the country chart and the No. 7 ranking on the all genre Top 200 chart.

The album was a huge immediate hit, moving more units its first week than any other male country artist in over three years.

Aldean's duet with Kelly Clarkson "Don't You Wanna Stay" also take the top spot on the Country Digital Singles and iTunes Country Songs charts this week, moving 57,000 downloads. The gold certified track continues to work its way up the radio charts toward No. 1.
