In Honor Of Loretta Lynn
In honor of Loretta Lynn's 50th career anniversary, a diverse group of artists has been assembled to contribute tracks to the upcoming album release, Coal Miner's Daughter: A Tribute to Loretta Lynn. The artists personally chosen by Lynn include: Faith Hill, Alan Jackson, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood, Gretchen Wilson, Lee Ann Womack, Kid Rock, Sheryl Crow, Steve Earle, Allison Moorer, The White Stripes and Lucinda Williams. Loretta shares, "I am so happy that these singers wanted to do this record. I love 'em all, and it was so great to hear all the different ways they did my hits. I hope people like it as much as I do and we sell a bunch of records!!" The CD will hit stores on November 9.
