Blake Shelton has just been announced as one of the openers on George Strait's 2009 tour. Blake says, "I have the utmost respect for George Strait and to be invited to be on his tour is a huge honor, he truly is living legend. Thank you George Strait for this incredible opportunity." He joins previously announced opener, Julianne Hough, on most of the shows.
