Garth Tickets Go On Sale Tomorrow!
Tomorrow morning at 11 AM, ET, tickets go on sale for Garth Brooks' first round of concerts in the intimate Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas starting December 11. Garth shares, "[CEO] Steve Wynn has done what I thought was impossible. He has given me a chance to sing again for the people, while at the same time never missing a day with my children. I am naturally nervous, but it feels good to be out from under the low ceiling of 'retirement' I put on myself." Steve Wynn was impressed the first time he saw Brooks perform in the intimate Encore Theater and notes, "For a single performer to lift an entire audience emotionally to the point where they pray it doesn't end, is an extraordinary and unique thing that only a few gifted people can do. But that is what I experienced when I saw Garth on stage, alone with his guitar, doing a history of his personal journey in music."
Garth shares that there really isn't a fear factor in moving forward with his first shows out of retirement:
"I don't have any trepidations because I've cleared it with the most important people - I've cleared it with my three girls, I've cleared it with Miss Trisha [Yearwood], and I've cleared it with the girls' mom, Sandy. We've talked about this. They're excited. The girls are excited for me to get out of the house. They are full-fledged teenagers now - all three of them - and they were very happy to hear that this is going to happen... And the one reason I just dig this gig right here... I get to come in off a plane, I get to walk out here and I get to just submerge myself in warm water and just play."
