Last month, word got out that Garth Brooks was suing the Integris Canadian Valley Regional Hospital in Yukon, Oklahoma to get back an anonymous 500 thousand dollar donation he made four years ago. The hospital had promised to build a living center in honor of his late mother, Colleen, but never did so. Garth tells Access Hollywood/ that the situation is "a heartache" because it's in his hometown where he knows a lot of people. Brooks hopes it will be resolved soon, noting that this is the "most uncomfortable" he's ever felt.
