The biggest flood the city has ever seen has devastated Nashville, Tennessee and surrounding areas. While national news coverage has been focusing on the New York City Times Square bomb, Music City and all three of its local stations have been broadcasting non-stop coverage of the worst flood ever in Middle Tennessee. Roads and interstates were closed because of the storm that moved through the Nashville area, producing more than 15 inches of rain in some areas. This, of course, has affected famous residents as well as every one else who calls Music City home. Many stars are taking to Twitter and Facebook to share their stories, thoughts and prayers with their neighbors.

Here is what the stars have been saying:

-- Tim McGraw and Faith Hill send this message: "We are very concerned for our town, but are also extremely proud of the selflessness and generosity shown by our wonderful citizens. We truly live in a special community."

-- Joe Don Rooney of Rascal Flatts shared: "Everyone please pray for Nashville. The flooding is horrible, and the rain is still coming."

-- Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts wrote, "Nashville is a disaster area! I've never seen anything like this!!"

-- Jo Dee Messina, who was trying to get back to Nashville from Chicago on Sunday, tweeted, "Landed to a flooded Nashville. [Bandmember] Robby's wife just got pulled from her car in water. Their car is gone, [but] she is safe. Thank God. Trying to get home."

-- James Otto: "I'm worried about my city! I wonder what will be gone when I get back? I left two days ago, and it seemed not a worry in sight. Pray for Nashville!"

-- Michelle Branch, who is currently in Los Angeles, has seen photos of her Nashville neighborhood and tweeted, "I'm seriously thinking my car might be washed away. So scary"
