Following their 104th appearance at the legendary venue, Yallwire host Stephanie Langston got the chance to chat with The Grascals backstage at the Grand Ole Opry.

Still humbled to be playing at the Opry, guitarist Terry Eldredge says "It's just the greatest place to play on Earth. It's the 'mother church' of country music. Any time they call us we're gonna be here if we're in town."

The group goes on to tell us about their recently released CD, Dance Til Your Stockings Are Hot And Ravelin', a tribute to the 50th anniversary and music of The Andy Griffith Show.

"We feel it's the greatest sitcom of all time, so anytime we have the opportunity to be affiliated with The Andy Griffith Show, we'll do it!" exclaims bassist Terry Smith.

Not only did the celebrated sitcom influence the history of television, but with appearances from various musicians on many episodes, The Andy Griffith Show undoubtedly made an impact on bluegrass music.

Raving about their favorite show, Terry and Terry reveal that they exchange Andy Griffith Show quotes on the bus every day and have both seen each episode over 100 times!

So what can you expect from an Andy Griffith Show tribute album created by an amazing bluegrass group who are devoted fans of the show? "Just a whole lotta fun music," Terry says. "Just like The Andy Griffith Show: down to home music with a sense of humor every once in a while."

The Grascals have a busy tour schedule coming up, so be sure to check out their official website to see if they'll be playing near you!
