Host Stephanie Langston had the pleasure of sitting down with country music star Jerrod Niemann at the end of CRS 2011 to fill her in on what's new in his budding career.

Always a busy week for up-and-coming country stars, Jerrod tells us how honored he is to play the New Faces show during CRS, a show that many huge artists have played in the past.

Jerrod's most recent single, "What Do You Want," has been climbing the charts lately, and the country cutie shares what it was like to shoot the black-and-white "artsy" video at an old mansion in Nashville.

With cameos from Randy Houser and Jamey Johnson, Jerrod also gives us a fun behind-the-video story for his last single "Lover, Lover," and shares his fondness for his fellow country music buds. "We all kinda met in Nashville several years ago and of course complained about the music industry as you do when it wants nothing to do with you," Jerrod says about Randy and Jamey. "I instantly realized that these guys are ridiculously talented and we just became best friends...and I'm so glad to see that the world has recognized their talent as well. They have contributed a lot to music overall."

Jerrod goes on about his hectic touring schedule, telling his that during his 'break' from being on Brad Paisley's H2O II tour, he will be hitting the road with Lee Brice on the Higher Education tour and then back on for the second leg of H2O II with Brad in the summer.
