Exclusive CRS Interviews: Sarah Darling, Carter's Chord, Margaret Durante
Wooooooooowee! Country music ladies are on FIRE right now!
Stephanie Langston got the chance to sit down with three up-and-coming country female acts during this year's CRS to talk about how they got their start, what they've been up to lately and what's to look forward to in the future.
Country cutie Sarah Darling lets us in on the meaning behind her newest single, "Something To Do With Your Hands," revealing that - although the title of the track is perhaps suggestive - the song is simply about women wanting some attention from their guy.
Pro-wrestler AJ Styles plays Sarah's love interest in the video, and the singer has found it interesting that some of his fans are now following her and enjoying her music. Similar to NASCAR, she claims that there is definitely a crossover between wrestling and country music fans and plans on collaborating with the wrestling world in the future!
The lovely sisters of Carter's Chord tell us the story of how they were signed by Toby Keith in 2006 and how they've grown as a group in the past five years. Excited about the release of their first full-production music video for their single "A Little Less Comfortable," the girls give us the scoop about the shoot, including the little fact that the guitar used in the video is the same one Gwyneth Paltrow strummed in Country Strong! Check out the music video for the song here!

Margaret Durante tells us about her super busy week at her first CRS and shares some info about her new single "Maybe Tonight," which is a track on the digital EP that comes out later this month.
This young country music gal was featured in Nashville Lifestyle as one of the "Fresh Faces" to watch this year, and based on her gut feeling, 2011 is sure to be a success!
