Easton Corbin is tied with Lady Antebellum in leading the nominee list in tonight's American Country Awards. The country music favorites are each up for seven awards.

Easton talks about what an honor it is to be a leading nominee:

"You know, I was really excited to hear about that …especially, I mean, seven… that's unheard of, for a new artist anyway. You know, just to get recognized with one nomination is, you know, a cool thing. But, you know, to have seven or six on top of that and to be there with, you know, Lady A and stuff like that…I could never imagine that. It's gonna be fun." 

Carrie Underwood trails behind the two country acts with six nominations.
