In conjunction with American Idol's charity-themed episode on April 21, Idol Gives Back, Bucky Covington – who appeared on Season 5- will join other Idol finalists at a Nashville food bank. The two-hour fundraising event will return to FOX at 8 PM, ET, with Carrie Underwood performing. CMT reports that Covington will volunteer with other fellow Idol alumni Bo Bice, Mandissa, Melinda Doolittle and Phil Stacey. Beneficiaries for this year's event include Children's Health Fund, Feeding America, Malaria No More, Save the Children's U.S. Programs and the United Nations Foundation.
