46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards Set For April
Honoring country music's top talent and the industry's hottest emerging artists, the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 3rd, 2011 at 8:00 PM ET on CBS.
In addition, the Academy will tape a concert special, Girls' Night Out: Superstar Women of Country at the same location of Monday, April 4th, 2011. Ticket sales for the special show will benefit ACM Lifting Lives, the charitable arm of the Academy of Country Music, which works to improve lives through music. The event willl air at a later date on CBS.
Tickets for both events go on sale Wednesday, January 19th at 10:00 AM PT. Tickets are available for purchase to professional members and to fans who have joined the ACM A-List from January 19th through February 18th after which tickets are available to the public without a special code.
Country music fans can sign up for the ACM A-List for free at the ACM official website to receive the ticket purchase code and information on discounted room rates at MGM Grand, based on availability.
