Uncle Kracker will appear on several dates of country music star Jason Aldean's latest tour.
The artist best known for his rock and rap music has been proving himself to fit in the country music genre with his latest single, "Smile," which took a spot in the Top 10 last week.
Although he has a reputation for being a rocker/rapper, Jason Aldean claims that people will be surprised to see how well Kracker blends in with the country music catergory. He shares:
"I met Kracker a few years back when I was on your with Rascal Flatts. He's just a cool dude, man. You know, he had the song with Kenny Chesney that was a big song ['When The Sun Goes Down'] and now he's got his own hit, and you know, I've always said whenever people bring up Kracker doin' shows with us, it's like, he was out with Kid Rock for quite a while so I'm sure he picked up a few pointers. And watching his show you can tell he's got it together, and I think people are gonna be surprised at how cool the show is."

Dolly Parton's Tony-nominated show, 9 to 5: The Musical, premiered in Nashville last night. The tour will travel the entire nation through June of 2011, according to CMT. Parton shares, "It's just incredible, and sometimes I have to honestly say, it almost overwhelms me. I just think my wig's gonna fly off or somethin'. I'm serious. It's just like everything comes out of me!" For the national tour, Dolly's character will be played by season three American Idol runner-up Diana DeGarmo and Tony-nominated actresses Dee Hoty (Violet Newstead) and Mamie Parris (Judy Bernly). DeGarmo jokes, "It's a big bra to fill. It's some big shoes and some big hair and big nails. I like it, though. It's fun. It's exciting to have Miss Dolly's love and support - makes the experience twice as fun." To that, Dolly replies, "Anybody can buy a cheap wig and wear it. And a push-up bra. But you've got to have a lot of talent - and she does."
The Broadway show is an adaptation of the 1980 box office smash, 9 to 5, that featured Parton in her first-ever movie role as Doralee Rhodes alongside Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda. The musical originally premiered last year on Broadway at New York's Marquis Theater, garneringa Grammy nomination and four Tony nominations, including a nod for best original score (music and/or lyrics) for Parton. It marked Dolly's first time as a musical composer. So what else does Parton have in the works now? She will star in the film Joyful Noise alongside singer-actress Queen Latifah. Dolly shares, "I dream new dreams every day. And I just wait for the Lord to lead me. I pray that prayer every day - just show me what I need to do and help me do it and just keep me on the right path."

Keith Urban helped his two-year-old daughter record her first songs.
The country music singer - who is married to Nicole Kidman - says he was keen to get little Sunday Rose behind the microphone when he took her to his studio recently and was thrilled when she showcased her vocal talent.
He said: "She came down to the studio the other day, and I put little headphones on her, and she came to the mic and she did two songs. She did 'ABC' and she did 'Twinkle Twinkle,' beginning to end. It was so cute to see the little headphones on her. It was cool."
Although he hasn't written directly about Sunday and Nicole on his new album, 'Get Closer,' he says his family are the main inspiration behind the LP.
He told People magazine: "I haven't written literally about Sunday, but there's a deeper purpose that's come from my marriage and now from fatherhood. So, I'm drawing inspiration from that sense of purpose and a feeling of love that I've never had in my life before, and that has come from both my girls."
While Sunday seems to take after her father when it comes to singing, Keith recently revealed he is glad the tot has inherited the stunning actress' enviable long pins rather than his.
He said: "I think she's a combination of both of us so far. But she got my wife's legs, which is very lucky for her. She sure didn't deserve mine."
