    Jack Ingram has broken the Guinness Book of World Records for the most interviews in a 24 hour period.  Ingram successfully completed 215 radio interviews to break this record.  Ingram released his new album, "Big Dreams & High Hopes," on August 25th.  He will celebrate and sign autographs in Austin, Texas at Waterloo Records on August 27th.

  • Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will host the 2009 CMA Awards on November 11 on ABC.  This is the second consecutive year the duo will host this show.  The tow hosts are the reigning CMA Male and Female Vocalists of the Year.

    Gary Allan will headline the tour Get Off on the Pain, beginning on Oct. 14 at the House of Blues in Chicago.  This tour will visit 25 different cities before the end of the year.  This includes the House of Blues venues in Houston on Oct. 16, New Orleans on Oct. 17 and Las Vegas on Dec. 31.  He will also be the headliner for the first time at the prestigious Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on Nov. 12.  Opening for Gary Allan will be Stoney LaRueand Justin Moore in Texas, as well as Jack Ingram and Eli Young Band throughout his U.S. tour.

    Bob Willis, aka Mr. Country-Gospel, was a preacher, songwriter, singer and musician, who passed away in Louisville, KY on July 10, 2009. 

    Willis was 75 years old at the time of his passing.   Willis was best known for his songwriting and wrote over 1000 Country-Gospel songs.  You can download free copies of certain songs, as well as sheet music on his website http://www.bobwillismusic.com/download-page.html.  You can also request to record his music at the site.

    Kenny Chesney will debut a new song that he wrote exlusively for ESPN's college football games.  It will premiere during Dick's Sporting Goods Kickoff Week (Sept. 3-7) and Championship Saturday (Dec. 5), as well as some games thorught the season and a few bowl games.  ESPN will air the song Sept. 3 at 7:00 p.m.  The song, named "This is Our Moment," will be used a s tease when the station goes ina nd out of commercial breaks and as promotion for some of their upcoming programs.

    Faith Hill's song "Waiting All Day for Sunday Night"  will be back this year on NBC's "Sunday Night Football."  This is the third consecutive season this song will be the anthem for thie show.  It will air for the first time this season on Sept. 13 during the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers game.
