Already well-known for a local fan base, Faber Drive released a limited edition three-song EP under the band name Faber. Due to legal issues, the band changed their name to Faber Drive.
Discovered by Nickelback's Chad Kroeger, and signed to his 604 Records label, Faber Drive released their debut album, Seven Second Surgery, on May 1, 2007.
The first single from Seven Second Surgery is "Second Chance", and the second single is "Tongue Tied".
The third single "When I'm With You" was previewed a month before it was released on Canadian gossip website isthishappening.com.
Faber Drive's "Second Chance" won a 2008 Canadian Radio Music Award for Best New Hot AC Band of The Year.
The second album by Faber Drive, "Can't Keep a Secret", is set to release on November 10, 2009. The first single from the album, "G-Get Up and Dance!" has now released on radio and iTunes. The second single from the album, "Give Him Up" has been released on radio and iTunes.

The release of their second album "Can't Keep a Secret", has seen Faber Drive move towards a synthpop sound.
