The Mitchell Brothers are the first signing to Mike Skinner's 'The Beats' label. Tony and Teddy Mitchell are both 24 and claim Manor Park, Ilford and Stockwell as their ends. Teddy and Tony, with the support of a group of mates called 'ylimaf' (pronounced 'wiley mouf'), pressed up 1,000 mix CDs called 'Sorted'. They inked their deal after Tony Mitchell performed a reverse pickpocket manoeuvre in the queue at a Barclays Bank in Brixton and slipped a demo CD into Skinner's pocket. Clothes are important to The Mitchell Brothers.
